Overview
Holdly is built to help with know what you hold. The app is designed around a local-first experience, so the information you enter is kept on your device for core use unless you choose to export, share, back up, or use a feature that clearly requires another service.
Information You Add
The app may store the content you create, such as app records, notes, reminders, reports, photos, products, customers, appointments, or other details that match the app purpose. You choose what to enter.
- No Holdly account or brokerage login required
- Portfolio, quantity, cost and transaction records stay on your device
- Market lookups send public asset identifiers or search terms to the Holdly price service
- CoinGecko and Twelve Data supply prices; asset images may load from third-party servers
- Network services may receive standard connection metadata such as your IP address
- Backups and CSV files are exported only when you choose; JSON backups are not encrypted
Permissions
Holdly asks for permissions only when they support a feature you use. You can manage app permissions in your device settings.
- Internet access for public market prices and asset images
- User-selected files for CSV import, export, backup and restore
Storage, Export, and Sharing
Local-first data stays on your device for normal app use. If you export a file, share a PDF, attach a photo, create a backup, or send data to another app, that action is controlled by you and may be handled by the destination you choose.
Data Sale and Tracking
Buddy Apps does not sell your user data. The apps are not designed around advertising profiles or third-party tracking.
