1. Introduction
SpendBuddy (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is a subscription management tool designed to help users track recurring expenses and renewal reminders.
Your financial data belongs to you.
2. Data We Collect
Subscription Data (Stored Locally)
When using the app, you may enter:
- Subscription names
- Prices and currencies
- Billing cycles
- Renewal dates
- Notes and categories
This data is stored locally on your device. We do not collect or transmit your subscription data to our servers.
In-App Purchases
If you upgrade to SpendBuddy Pro:
- Payments are processed by Apple App Store
- We do not receive your payment details
- We may receive subscription status (active/inactive) via Apple

Analytics & Tracking
SpendBuddy does not use:
- Advertising SDKs
- Third-party analytics
- Cross-app tracking
- Behavioral tracking
No tracking. No ads. No data selling.
3. Notifications
If renewal reminders are enabled, the app schedules local notifications on your device. No notification data is sent externally.
4. Data Storage
All data is stored locally using secure system storage.
If you use Export/Import features, the files remain under your control.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties.
6. Your Control
- Edit or delete subscriptions anytime
- Disable notifications
- Cancel Pro via Apple subscription settings
- Delete all data by uninstalling the app
7. Children’s Privacy
SpendBuddy is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
8. Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated if features change. Updates will be reflected in the “Last updated” date.
