Where are my projects saved?
Your projects save automatically in this browser on this device. Download a Stepwise backup to keep an editable copy or move a project to another browser.
Does Stepwise capture my screen?
Stepwise starts with screenshots you provide. Upload your images, drag them in, or paste an image from your clipboard with Cmd or Ctrl + V.
How do I share a finished guide?
Export a PDF or a standalone HTML file. The HTML includes your images and opens in a browser without needing Stepwise. Attach either file wherever you work.
Can I hide sensitive information?
Yes. Use Hide info to cover private areas. These masks are permanently applied to images in PDF and HTML exports. Editable backups retain the original screenshots, so keep those private.
