Overview
BeautyBook is built to help with appointments and treatment journeys for beauty pros. The app is designed around a local-first experience, so the information you enter is kept on your device for core use unless you choose to export, share, back up, or use a feature that clearly requires another service.
Information You Add
The app may store the content you create, such as app records, notes, reminders, reports, photos, products, customers, appointments, or other details that match the app purpose. You choose what to enter.
- No account required in the current foundation
- No analytics SDK, advertising SDK, or tracking
- Local-first appointments, clients, services, treatment plans, payments, and business settings
- No automatic upload or cloud dependency in the current foundation
- Notifications may be used for local appointment reminders
- Backups are user-controlled JSON files
- Service photos are selected from files and stored with local records
Permissions
BeautyBook asks for permissions only when they support a feature you use. You can manage app permissions in your device settings.

- Call, message, and email links only when the user taps a client contact action
- Optional sharing actions that you choose to start
Storage, Export, and Sharing
Local-first data stays on your device for normal app use. If you export a file, share a PDF, attach a photo, create a backup, or send data to another app, that action is controlled by you and may be handled by the destination you choose.
Data Sale and Tracking
Buddy Apps does not sell your user data. The apps are not designed around advertising profiles or third-party tracking.
