What is Parallel?
Parallel is an iPhone app that uses your photo and an alternate-life idea to create an imagined photograph. Keep exploring the same life through new moments, or start again with a different choice.
Will the photograph look exactly like me?
Your uploaded photo guides the person's appearance, but AI can make mistakes. Facial likeness and details vary. The examples on this page are fictional illustrations, not before-and-after demonstrations.
Can I write my own idea?
Yes. Write your own “What if…” or start with a suggestion. Parallel supports English and Vietnamese, whether you imagine a new profession, a different city or another era.
Do I need an internet connection?
Yes, creating photographs requires an internet connection. Your selected photo and idea are sent for AI processing. Saved moments remain in your app's local history.
Can I share or delete my moments?
You can share a Parallel card, save a photograph, and delete a life from My Lives. Sharing is your choice; Parallel does not publish your moments to a public feed.
