1. Using Parallel
These terms apply to the Parallel app and image-generation service provided by Hoa Bui under the Buddy Apps name. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Parallel.
You must be at least 13 and meet any higher minimum age required where you live. If you are below the age of legal majority, use the service with a parent or guardian's permission. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and anonymous session.
2. Imagined photographs
Parallel creates fictional AI images from a photo and a life choice or editing instruction. Results do not document real events and must not be presented as evidence that an event occurred. Images can contain mistakes, distorted details or an imperfect likeness. Review each result before saving, publishing or relying on it.
We do not guarantee exact facial likeness, historical accuracy, unique results or suitability for any particular use. Parallel is a creative tool, not an identity-verification or professional-advice service.
3. Your photos and rights
Only upload photos and instructions you have the right to use, including appropriate permission from people depicted. You retain your existing rights in your uploads. You authorize us and our service providers to process that content as needed to create, moderate, store and deliver the results you request, as described in the Privacy Policy.
We do not claim ownership of your original photos. Any rights you may have in generated images are subject to applicable law and third-party rights; AI output is not guaranteed to qualify for copyright protection or exclusive ownership. You are responsible for permissions needed for your intended publication or commercial use.
4. Responsible use
Do not use Parallel for unlawful content, harassment, fraud, deceptive impersonation, exploitation, non-consensual intimate imagery or sexual content involving minors. Do not infringe privacy, intellectual-property or other rights, or present an AI result in a way intended to deceive or harm someone.
Do not bypass safety checks, access another person's results, exploit the service or evade usage limits. Requests and results may be blocked by safety checks. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, legal requirements or security risks.
5. Availability and saved work
Generating and editing images requires an internet connection and available processing capacity. Usage limits, delays, failed requests and temporary interruptions can occur. Features and limits may change; we do not promise continuous availability or unlimited generation.
Local history is not a permanent cloud backup or a cross-device sync service. Server results expire and local caches may be cleared as described in the Privacy Policy. Save images you want to keep. Uninstalling the app or losing access to an anonymous session may prevent recovery of history.
6. Payments and app-store terms
In-app purchases and app-credit charging are disabled in the current release. This does not promise that every future feature will be free. If paid features are introduced, their price and applicable terms will be shown before purchase; these terms alone do not authorize any charge.
For an App Store download, the applicable Apple license and store terms also apply. Where no custom app license is supplied, Apple's Standard EULA governs the app license. Any future App Store purchase or refund is also subject to the applicable store process and your statutory rights.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available, without guarantees that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every purpose. We are not responsible for independent third-party services or your misuse of generated content, except where the law requires otherwise.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits mandatory consumer, privacy or other statutory rights. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
9. Changes, stopping use and contact
You can stop using Parallel at any time and use the deletion controls described in the Privacy Policy. We may change these terms to reflect service or legal changes, update the date and communicate material changes through an appropriate channel. Where required, we will seek agreement before applying new terms.
